There are a number of products or goods that are prohibited to enter the country of Indonesia. There are some other products that are allowed but the quantity is limited. Have a look at the list below.

 

 

Prohibited products/goods:

 

  • Pornography

  • Narcotic drugs

  • Portable wirelss fixed phones (mobile phones are accepted)

  • Chinese goods, books and medicines

  • All other goods that have a value of more than 1,000 USD

  • Tapes/CD's/etc. with music with the purpose to sell them in Bali (the customs won't make problems of 3 tapes for example)

  • Fire arms, weapons, ammunition, laser guns, explosives, 

  • Fresh fruit

  • Television sets an non standard electronic equipment

 

The following duty free products are allowed:

 

  • For a one-week stay:

  • Tobacco: 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or 100g of tobacco

  • Alcohol: less than 2 liters of alcohol (opened)

  • Other: a reasonable quantity of perfume; gifts up to the value of US$100

  • For a two-week stay:

  • Tobacco: 400 cigarettes, 100 cigars, or 200g of tobacco

  • Other: a reasonable quantity of perfume; gifts up to the value of US$100

  • For a stay more than 2 weeks:

  • Tobacco: 600 cigarettes, 150 cigars, or 300g of tobacco

  • Other: a reasonable quantity of perfume; gifts up to the value of US$100
