Day 11 - The trip to the north and the biggest waterfall of Bali 2/4

21-11-1999

We left Good Karma with some tears in our eyes. YES, we fell in love with this great spot (maybe the greatest on earth).

But, we had to move on because we had to be back in Kuta on time for the flight back of Tony. We made a few pictures on our way to the Biggest Waterfall of Bali Island.

We decided to first go up north a little. The Swiss people told us the rice fields are spectacular a little up north.

So we first went to the rice fields....

The rice fields are very small or thin, so there are a lot of them in steps..

.

We crossed a dry river. On the north east corner of the island everything is much dryer.

We finally arrived at the biggest waterfall of Bali. To get to the waterfall, it is almost 20 minutes walking through the jungle.

On the trees, you will find tons of fruit. This is a rambutan tree....

.

And this is a mango tree...

Just grab 'm and wait 2 days. Then you can eat 'm!

.

Tony couldn't wait to take a shower from mother nature :-)
