The lake temple - Budugul
|
The missing object was Tony. I told him to stay there for the rest of his life, but he wanted to go with me and return some day to his girl friend!

|
One more pose before having dinner. |
Next to the temple you will find a little restaurant. For 19.500 IDR. you can have a full native dinner. I would recommend the Nasi Goreng. The servants were also very kind!
| |
The servants were very happy to see some tourists! |
|
Every entrance of any temple is decorated. You need to step up and step down again. Every entrance is narrow, so the bad spirits will not find the entrance to the room! |
It started raining while we were eating. I just made this snapshot of some kids playing in the garden. As you can see, this pictures is very beautiful. I once heard that most beautiful pictures are made right after a thunderstorm and when the sun started to shine again... .
|
When we stepped into the car, it was raining, but only 200 meters further up the road it was dry!
We drove a few more kilometers, and we finally had the view of the next lake, called lake Danu Buyan.
|
Some people cultivated peppers in their garden bordering the lake. And some of them surely use the peppers in their food!
|
This is a picture of the car of Anom. A jeep is a must in this country! |
When we were driving with the car to the top of the mountain, we were suddenly surprised!
A bunch of monkeys were playing along the road. We stopped the car and gave some food to the wild monkeys.
They are really lovely and very funny, but you need to be careful. Some of them are aggressive!
And the aggressive ones might bite you!
